We've Worked with Tixly for Years. Now the Partnership is Official.

Over 16 venues already rely on the Tixly-CultureSuite integration. Now we're strengthening that bond with enhanced API access, new account features for patrons, and a shared commitment to building technology that keeps getting better.

When two platforms work well together, formalising the relationship is less about starting something new and more about committing to what's already working.

CultureSuite and Tixly have been collaborating for years. Our CMS integrates with Tixly's ticketing platform, and today over 16 venues across Europe rely on this connection to power their digital presence, including Muziekgebouw, Theater Orpheus, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Cultuurhuis de Warande, and Kongsberg Musikkteater.

This new partnership strengthens that bond with enhanced API access for more robust data sharing, closer collaboration between our teams, and a shared commitment to continuously improving how our platforms work together.

"Formalising our partnership with CultureSuite is a natural evolution of a collaboration that has already delivered immense value to over 16 venues. At Tixly, our goal is to simplify the complex world of ticketing, and by deepening our integration with CultureSuite’s CMS, we’re making it even easier for arts marketers to turn data into meaningful audience connections. This isn't just about technical updates; it’s about giving cultural organisations the tools they need to thrive in a digital-first world."

What the integration delivers

For venues using both Tixly and CultureSuite CMS, the integration creates a seamless flow of data between your ticketing system and website:

Automated event listings: Productions sync automatically. Prices, availability, times, and ticket URLs all flow through without manual entry. When you reschedule a concert or update pricing in Tixly, your website reflects the change immediately.

Visitor data synchronisation: Sync visitor tags and customer data from Tixly to your CMS, enabling targeted campaigns and automated service mailings based on actual patron behaviour. Know who's a member, who loves opera, who hasn't visited in a while. Then show them content that acknowledges it.

Single Sign-On: Patrons log in once and enjoy a unified experience across your website and ticketing system, with session status synchronised between platforms.

Just released: New account features for Tixly venues

As part of this partnership, we've shipped a significant update to our Tixly Single Sign-On integration and added new account features that give patrons more reasons to sign in.

Tixly SSO already supported visitor tag synchronisation and personalisation via advanced visibility. This upgrade adds:

  • Wish lists — patrons can save events and receive notifications when tickets go on sale
  • Ticket sharing — patrons can share e-tickets with companions, who create accounts to accept them (giving venues data on their full audience, not just buyers)
  • Newsletter opt-in management — patrons can manage preferences directly on the website, synced back to Tixly
  • A personalised account area within the venue's website
  • Consistent session sync — if a patron's session expires in Tixly, they're logged out of the website automatically

Ticket sharing is particularly significant. When someone books four tickets, venues typically only know the buyer. The companions are invisible. With ticket sharing, venues have the opportunity to turn the recipient into a known patron.

This isn't SSO as a checkbox feature. It's the foundation for delivering the personalised experiences that patrons increasingly expect, and that arts marketers have long wanted to provide."

"By integrating our platforms, we're enabling arts marketers to draw on their Tixly data to create more personalised website experiences and automate event listings – freeing them from routine website admin so they can focus on audience development. Beyond the technical integration, we share a commitment to building systems that are future-proof and continuously evolving. Cultural organisations shouldn't have to worry about their technology falling behind; they should be able to trust that it keeps getting better."

“What I like about CultureSuite is the approach—the learnings they get from lots and lots of cultural organisations, bringing that into a central platform so they can make the changes that we all benefit from, rather than everything being customised and bespoke.”
