Sales Executive

Role Overview

We're on the lookout for a motivated Sales Executive with a passion for the arts and culture sector. As an entry to mid-level role, this position is perfect for someone eager to dive into sales and make a significant impact. You will work closely with the marketing team and use your initiative to nurture relationships, with the primary goal of driving interest and scheduling demos for our Peppered CMS.

Location: Remote (UK or Netherlands)
Salary: £28-32k/year GBP

  • 1 x Content Marketer

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to potential venue and partner leads in the arts and culture sector.
  • Use a blend of traditional sales strategies, including cold outreach, lead nurturing, and closing techniques.
  • Build and maintain relationships with arts and culture venues and industry contacts.
  • Develop tailored proposals and sales copy that highlight the value proposition of our products.
  • Collaborate with team members to refine outreach strategies, identify marketing campaign follow-ups, and manage leads from various marketing events.
  • Track and report on sales activities and results.
  • Utilise CRM tools (e.g., Freshsales and Apollo.io) to manage our sales pipeline and activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform sales copy and strategies.
  • Assist the Customer Success team with upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments.
  • Represent CultureSuite at events and conferences.

Requirements

  • Strong interest or background in the arts and culture sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • Comfortable with remote work and digital communication tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM software to manage sales processes and customer information.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn and other social media platforms for networking.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.

Nice to Haves

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in the arts, SaaS or technology sectors.
  • Knowledge of SaaS products and the digital landscape.
  • Understanding of the arts, culture, and entertainment industry and of ticketing venues.
  • Knowledge of sales strategies, including cold outreach, lead nurturing, and closing techniques.

Our Hiring Process

  • 25-minute informal video call with our Chief Growth Officer and Marketing Manager.
  • First technical interview focusing on your experiences, skills, and knowledge.
  • Take-home task evaluating your skills and suitability for the role.
  • Presentation of the take-home task.
  • Final interview and culture fit assessment.
  • References check.
